Tack and Turnout
Tack and Turnout will be assessed at each rally and marks will be awarded out of 10. At the Annual Presentation Evening an award will be presented to the East Cornwall member who accrued the most points over the year . The second of six Prince Phillip cup training rallies at Duchy college on Monday evenings at 6.30pm.
We intend to enter one junior and one senior team in the Prince Phillip Cup competition in May 2012. This series of rallies will train members for the gymkhana games that will used in the competition this year.
Louise Garland will be running these rallies and will be responsible for choosing the teams. These first rallies are to allow members to see whether they enjoy the games. The training sessions are fun so please come along to the first session and see whether you want to take part. New members welcome.

Fun Ride on Bodmin Moor
Date: Wednesday 4th April 2012
Another chance to go on the popular fun ride on Bodmin Moor ending at Jamaica Inn.
The start point will be Westmoor Gate
This ride is for experienced members only and is unsuitable for very small ponies (under 12.2hh). You must be confident about riding your pony in a group over open country and have full control. There will be plenty of opportunities for a good canter, with some banks and ditches to jump (all can be by-passed). There will be two streams to cross (these cannot be by-passed) so ponies must be reliable at crossing water. The ride will take about 1.5-2 hours. Enquiries to Kieran O'Brien on kobvet@virgin.net
Cost £2.50 to include a portion of chips at Jamaica Inn at the end of the ride.

Preparation For Four Burrow Hunt PC ODE
Date: Thursday 12th April 2012
A rally where those members who have entered for the Four Burrow Hunt PC One Day Event on 15 April (closing date for entries is 6 April) can practise their dressage test and show jumping. There may also be an opportunity to practise some cross country fences.
Please note that this rally is only open to those members who have already entered by the date of the rally. The ODE schedule may be downloaded below (heights 75cm- 1 metre).
