This is a junior mounted rally for younger members including those still on a lead rein. The rally will take place in Louise Garland's sand school (across the road from Keason Farm, Pillaton). Please park at Keason and ride across

Cross Country Rally and Team Training

Date: Wednesday 29th May 2013

A training rally at our ODE cross-country course in Merrymeet. All are welcome but members of our Area Squads are expected to attend

Participants will be grouped according to age and ability. Jump height 2ft. upwards. Cost £10

10am start for the first groups, 90 minute sessions with 15 minute changeover time.

Body protectors compulsory.

General Rally (all ages)

Date: Friday 31st May 2013

This is one of a series of a mounted rallies open to all members. There will be some flatwork and some jumping at each rally. We hope to have the portable XC jumps to use after our ODE (the June rallies) but there will show jumps until then. Back protectors are recommended.

Members will be placed into rides (small groups of approx 6) according to age and ability. Cost £8

Please ensure that all members are dressed correctly, ponies groomed and tack cleaned as there will be a tack and turnout inspection at each rally. Anyone wearing inapproriate clothing will not be allowed to take part.

The rallies will be held in an open field at Keason Farm. If you are not confident controlling your pony in an open environment please let the organiser know beforehand as one ride (usually the youngest/lead rein riders) will be taught in the sand school at Louise Garland's (just across the road). Everyone should park at Keason Farm where you will meet your instructor. Please be mounted and ready to ride by 6.30pm the rally should last approx an hour and a half.

All instruction will take place at the same time so there should be no transport issues etc. However to ensure that we have sufficient instructors the last booking date for each rally will be the Monday before. Late entries will only accepted after this time at the organiser's discretion (usually only if there are sufficient places in the rides that have been organised).

Rides will be posted on the website the day before the rally. Please check the website the morning of the rally as we may have to cancel if the weather is particularly bad.

Summer Camp 2013 - FIRST PAYMENT

Date: Sunday 30th June 2013

Camp dates: Intermediate 11-14 August, Junior 15-18 August

To help spread the cost of camp the total payment will be split into two payments of £65 each (a total of £130). The first payment can be made any time from now but MUST be paid by 30 June.

The second payment can be made from 15 June and MUST paid by 31 July.

At this stage you are not choosing Junior or Intermediate Camp - this decision will be made later in the year
